Is there a food or beverage minimum?
No! There’s no minimum amount you need to spend on food or drinks. That goes for every party space, including full-restaurant buyouts. Choose what works for your group, without a spending target to hit. Your room fee, food, and drinks are charged separately.
What does the room fee include?
Your space, your dedicated server, and full service for the whole event! At Brother Barrel, your rental includes a dedicated bartender. The fee covers your space and its listed amenities. Ask us about timing for your event. Food and drinks are purchased separately.
Is the room fee charged by the hour?
No! The posted room fee is a flat fee for your event. Ask us about timing for your event.
Will we have dedicated service for the whole event?
Yes! Your group gets dedicated service throughout your event, so you can spend more time with your guests. Our party rooms include a dedicated server. At Brother Barrel, a dedicated bartender is included in your rental fee.
Does Cascade Hall have its own bar?
Yes! Cascade Hall has its own bar with beer on tap, right in your event space. Full service is included in your room fee. Food and drinks are purchased separately.
Can you help us plan around a budget?
Absolutely! Tell us your guest count and what you’d like to spend. We’ll help you choose a space and menu that fit your plans.
Can guests order from the regular menu?
For some gatherings, yes! Smaller groups may order from the regular pub menu, while party platters work well for larger groups. We’ll help you choose based on your room, group size, and plans.
Can we bring a cake or our own drinks?
Cake and cupcakes are welcome! All other food and drinks must be purchased through Elliott Bay.
Can we decorate the room?
Yes! Make the space feel like your celebration. Please skip confetti, glitter, open flames, and anything that could damage the room. Decoration setup and removal need to fit within your reserved time. Need early access? Ask us when booking.
How do we reserve a space?
Tell us your preferred location, date, and guest count. A manager will check availability and help you with the menu and deposit details. We look forward to hearing what you have planned!
Which Elliott Bay locations have party spaces?
Our party spaces are at Burien and Lake City. Burien has options like the full restaurant, Brewer’s Room, shuffleboard area, and patio. Lake City has options like the full restaurant, patio, Brother Barrel, Cascade Hall, and Brewer’s Room.
How many guests can Elliott Bay host for a private party?
The party spaces cover everything from smaller gatherings to larger celebrations. The current party page lists spaces from 24 guests in smaller rooms up to full-restaurant buyouts; each space card shows its current capacity.
What is the difference between a private and semi-private party space?
Private spaces give your group a room or venue area of its own. Semi-private spaces keep you close to the energy of the pub while still giving your group a defined area for the event.
Do the party spaces include TVs, microphones, patios, or accessibility details?
Amenities vary by space. Some spaces include features such as TVs, a microphone, a sound system, patios, private restrooms, or service-elevator access. Check the individual space details or ask when booking so the room fits your event.
What is the difference between a party booking and catering?
A party booking is for hosting your event in one of Elliott Bay’s party spaces. Catering is for food and beer packages picked up or delivered for an off-site event.
